Alexey Tolstoy's monument

On his return from "white" emigration, soviet writer Alexey Tolstoy lived not far from the place where the monument is installed. The monument was designed by famous sculptor Georgiy Motovilov and unveiled in 1957.

Alexey Tolstoy was a famous writer in Stalin period. His books are still read with interest nowadays, though many of them are rare books now.
